Pretty Ribbons!

G'day and welcome to a new week, I hope you get a chance to stamp with us this week.

Today is the last Monday of the month which to us here on CCEE Stampers means that our challenge this week is a supply one. A few months ago CCEE member Deb Mills sent each of us a fabulous parcel of ribbons (Thanks Deb! :) ), in with those ribbons was a special bag containing ribbons of varies patterns .... Deb instructions to us were that we were to create a card using one of the ribbons in that bag. We were originally supposed to do this challenge in May but due to commitments of some of our CCEE members we ended up postponing it until now.

Would you like to play along ... well I know you don't have the bag of ribbons that Deb sent to all of us ... but I am sure you have ribbons right! If you have ribbons that have a pattern eg stripes, dots or flowers etc use them .... if you don't have anything like this use whatever you do have and make your card using it. Don't forget to come back here and post a comment to this post so that we can go check out your card and if you are uploading your card to SCS then please use the keyword CCEEC.

Now it is time to take a look at what our CCEE team have created this week, don't forget if you would like any further info on there card to click on the name above the card to go to their blog or gallery.

CNFS - Jazzytobi

Hello again everyone. It is time for another fun CCEE challenge, this week we get to do one of our favorite challenges which we do every month. It is our CNFS or Catchy Name Featured Stamper challenge, each month we select one person on SCS who has a Catchy User name and we create our cards around the theme of that name and then we all send our cards to this person.

So who is our CNFS this month .... well it is Jazzytobi !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The instructions we were given for this challenge was that our card must have something musical on it, and the tea dying technique must be used.

So would you like to join us in this weeks challenge ..... we would love you all to participate! Make your card as per the challenge theme above .... you don't have to send your cards to Jazzytobi, although I am sure she would love them if you wanted to. Post a comment here so we can see your card. If you are uploading to SCS don't forget to use the keyword CCEEC.

Faux Silk!

Well it is Monday again, which means it is time for another of our CCEE challenges.

Thanks to everyone who joined us last week to play our Thumping challenge ... it was fun to see all your wonderful cards.

This week we again have another "technique" type challenge which was giving to us by our head cheerleader Tosh .... this week we were to create a card using the Faux Silk technique. You can find a tutorial for this technique here. Cindy Haffner suggested a bonus challenge this week which was to include an "Owl" on our cards, this was an optional extra.

Again we would love for you all to join us and play our challenge this week .... if you don't have an owl stamp you can still play .... we would love to see your faux silk cards. So why not check out the tutorial and then post a comment here so we can see your card. If you upload to SCS don't forget to add the keywords "CCEEC".

Thumping!

Greetings everyone and thank you for visiting our blog.

Before I get started on our challenge for this week I thought I would reply to a question someone posted in the comments to last weeks post. The question was what does CCEE stand for ... well that is a good question. It stands for Cheers, Challenges Eager Eight. As you know there are 8 members in our group who are all eager to cheer each other on through the challenges we do between us.

Ok
now onto our challenge for this week. As we are now in a new month we have a new host for our challenges which is Tosh. One of Tosh's favorite techniques is the "thumping" technique ... and no you don't start punching someone LOL that isn't the technique at all. If you would like to find out more about "Thumping" check out this great tutorial on SCS by Beate Johns here.

Don't forget we would love for you to also come and play in our challenge this week ... so why not check out the tutorial and then post a comment here so we can see your card. If you upload to SCS don't forget to add the keywords "CCEEC".
